Tony Hammel says
November 16, 2020 at 7:51 pmI had the pleasure of working with Glenn for many years at Brake Supply.
Very knowledgeable, hard working and always willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. A good man.
My condolences to the family.
He will be missed
Glenn Arnold James, 85, went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2020. He was born on December 20, 1934 to Charles and Hilda James in Crittenden County, Kentucky.
Glenn is remembered to be a humble man with a great sense of humor who could make anyone laugh, but also be the man that would want to help anyone he could. He was a mechanic for over 30 years at Brake Supply. Most recently, he built hydraulic pumps, but was known to be a jack of all trades in the business. Glenn was also a member of the National Guard for six years. He was a fan of many sports, but really had a love for golf and baseball. The St. Louis Cardinals were his favorite team!
Glenn is survived by his beautiful wife of 56 years, Jill Rae James, his loving children, Stacey Leigh Freimiller, Chad Patrick James, a son who died at infancy, Glenn Arnold James Jr, four grandchildren, Andrew Jordan James, Megan Renee French, Kyle Harrison James, and Ryan Evan James, four great-grandchildren, Terence Terell Wilder, Maliyah Marie Cox, Adrian Anthony Cox, and La’Nyah Lynn Cox, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Ray, Guy, and Albert.
The family would like to thank Heritage Hospice Center for all of their help, care, and concern.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
