Anna Mae Norman, 78, passed away August 22, 2018 in Evansville. She was born July 26, 1940 daughter of William Henry & Berry (Langley) Wallace in Evansville, Indiana.
She was known for her feisty personality and always being the firecracker of the group. Her favorite past time was traveling to new and exotic locations whether that be by bus or plane, she would find a way to get where she wanted to go. She enjoyed working for Mead Johnson for 20 years in Evansville after spending a few years in Boston, Massachusetts. Since being back in Evansville, she became a volunteer for Potter’s Wheel Ministry, serving the city of Evansville by spreading the Word of God and providing a safe haven for all His children.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce Ann Wallace Scruggs; nieces and nephews, Cheryl Ann Jones, Millard Scruggs, Jr., Rose Marie Scruggs, Mildred Scruggs (Cecil) Weightman, Mark A. Coleman, Michael A. Coleman, and Marcie A. Coleman; 4 great-nieces, and numerous great-great-grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Berry (Langley) Wallace; sister, Verona Betsy Wallace Coleman; and nephew, Philco Jones.
There will be a visitation held from 10 AM until service time, 11 AM, on Monday, August 27, 2018. The visitation and service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home in Evansville, Indiana. Interment will directly follow the service to graveside at Sunset Memorial Park.
