My life will be less without you. Less bright, less fun, less caring, less everything. But I swear to you my girl, I will love people like you loved me. I will spread your glittering joy every chance I get. I will never let your light go out. I will be here for your kids. I promise to keep you alive in there lives. Give Derek a wet willy from me. When I thought I lost me, you knew where I left me.
From high school to working the floor together I will always remember your beautiful smile and infectious laugh. You made my days so much better. I can’t believe you are gone. Until we meet again kitty. Your sweet momma and babies will be in my prayers.
Kitty was one of a kind – she shared Harley and the rest of her family with me and ALWAYS made me feel ‘a part of’. From taking the kids trick or treating (she hand made her costumes and they were the best!) to eating at Western Ribeye (she loved the big block of cheese you could cut from), going to Hartke Pool with the kids during the summer, and watching Harley and Alivia graduate Delaware Elementary 6th grade last week. I will never forget her powerful, God loving voice when she sang out at One Life West church with all of us together in the front row. I used to say “you need to get up there on that stage girl”! and she would smile that beautiful beautiful smile. I’m sure you’ll know, but all that loved you will take care of what you left behind until we are all together again. I love you.
You were always a bright and shining star to me, coworkers and the residents/family we cared for. You could always put a smile on the saddest or grouchiest of us all! May your light continue to shine on on those beautiful children of yours! Love you forever and cherish all the memories of spending time with you!!!!
Like everyone has said and knows…you were a beautiful woman that left glitter whereever you went. Wonderful mother, caregiver, and friend. You brightened my days anytime you were around and even sometimes from afar. I love you, Kitty Kat and will see you again someday. Love and prayers to all that were blessed to know you…fly high and come visit sometime!

Cassandra “Kitty” Marie Kalbarchick, 33, went home to Jesus on May 29, 2022. She was born on February 15, 1989, to Nicholas and Alison (Campbell) Kalbarchick in Detroit, Michigan.
Kitty was the essence of a glitter queen. She was always covered in glitter and left her sparkle wherever she went. She attended One Life West Church and sang that praise and worship music like there wasn’t anyone else around and she was singing straight to the Lord. She sang from her soul and loved every minute of it. Kitty’s laughter was infectious. She was the most compassionate, loving, and generous person. So much so, that everyone became family to her. Her doors were always open, and her heart full of love for everyone she met. Kitty was a fantastic mother, and loved her children more than anything else. Some of her best qualities were her confidence and strong will. Kitty’s special kind of sunshine will still be felt by anyone who was blessed enough to cross her path.
Kitty was preceded in death by her father Nicholas Kalbarchick.
Kitty is survived by her children Harlequin Smothers, Dominick Kalbarchick, Rowan Kalbarchick; mother Alison Kalbarchick; siblings Jacob Finn, Joseph Bishop, Josh Kalbarchick, Rebecca Kalbarchick; Fiancé Jase Dulik; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
