Christine Money

Christine Money, 60, passed away on February 4, 2023. She was born on September 1, 1962, to Ruby and Martha (Levi) Carner in Evansville, Indiana.

Christine was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and survivor. Christine had a light about her that could not be dimmed. She was hardworking, determined, and driven. She worked in Housekeeping for over 20 years. Christine accomplished anything she put her mind to; she obtained her GED on her 40^th Birthday. She enjoyed playing games, being outside in her yard, and spending time with her loved ones. Christine treasured making memories with her grandchildren. She looked forward to pizza nights with her family.  Christine was known for her amazing sense of humor; she constantly made others laugh. She had a heart for all animals; she would rescue and take care of any animal in need. Christine had a heart of gold and she will be missed greatly.

Christine is survived by her children Nicole (Robert) Adcock, Donna Sanders, Melissa (Shane) Smith, Billie Jo (Kilo) Bonner, Christine Sanders; 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Jeanie, Joanie, Betty, Peggy, Louise,  Robert, and Henry; and many loving extended family and friends.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; husband Michael Money; son Timothy Sanders; grandchildren Sam and Sammy Adcock; siblings Raymond, Mary, Willie, Billy, Patricia, and Bubby; and her dog Precious.

Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am on February 10^th, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunset Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
