Dale Allyn Horn, 60, passed away on June 26, 2023. He was born on June 21, 1963, to Jerrold Horn and Beverly (Tuley) Horn in Evansville, Indiana.
Dale was a proud father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend. In Dale’s primary years, he attended Evansville Lutheran School until 1977 and went on to graduate Castle High School in 1981. He was an avid sports fan; his teams were the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Hoosiers, St. Louis Cardinals, and Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, especially Dale Earnhardt. Dale could fix anything he laid his hands on. Dale will be missed greatly by all.
Dale is survived by his children Joshua Allyn Horn (Atlanta) and Jacqueline Fulkerson (Phillip); mother Beverly Horn; wife Kim Wohlgamuth-Horn; grandchildren Avery, Kada, Coralyn, Oakley, Elexis, Talonica, Jacelyn; siblings Denise King and Jeryl Hope (Patrick); nieces and nephews Travis Enlow (Ka’Sandra), Brandee Powers (David), Jeremiah Hope (Allyce), Jerrod Hope; several great-grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Dale was preceded in death by his father Jerrold Horn.
Reverend Chad M. Eckels, of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, is to officiate the Graveside service for Dale at Lutheran Cemetery on the west side of Evansville on Friday, July 7th at 10:00 am.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Dale to Evansville Lutheran School and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
