June 26, 2019 at 10:20 pmMy father gave me the greatest gift a father can give to a son, the knowledge of Christ and the Cross. He was understanding, kind, and loving. He was the best dad a person could ever hope for. Even though he may have left this Earth I know I will see him again standing next to our Lord and Savior. I love and miss you so very much Dad but I know that you’re truly happy….happier than you’ve ever been. And that gives me peice. This is not the end, only the beginning. Rest in peace my beautiful father…until we meet again.

Daniel Ray Byers, 65, went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2019. He was born on July 11, 1953 to Jack and Lillian Byers in Boonville, Indiana
Dan was a man of God. He was a minister and loved the Lord with all his heart. He worked as a welder in a factory for most of his life. He was a huge Patriots fan. Dan was a very kind and loving man and was a friend to everyone.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Cathy Byers; his children Daniel, Jennifer, Chrisie, Brian, Heather; many grandchildren; some great-grandchildren; one sister; four brothers; many nieces and nephews; and his prayer partner Mike Dice.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27th at Sunset Memorial Park.
