David Allen Sheats, Sr., 66, passed away on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on July 17th, 1954 in Evansville, Indiana to Ben and Della Sheats.
He was a long-time mechanic for several years. He loved to work on cars, especially vintage cars. His favorite car was a 1940’s Ford in midnight blue. He loved his family above all and will be missed by them deeply.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sheats and his grandson, Blake Bratcher.
He is survived by his sons, William Bratcher and David Sheats, Jr; his daughters, Theresa Patrick and Lisa Eads; his sisters, Debbie Schaefer and Vonda Ford; his brother, Michael Sheats; and his Breyden Bratcher, Jayden Bratcher, Kyle Bratcher, Ila Sheats, and Myra Sheats; numerous nieces and nephews; and his best friend Merrill Mortimer.
No services will be held at this time.
