October 9, 2020 at 2:42 pmI loved Dotty! We had such good times when we were Vogel PTA together when Stephen and my Lauren were there. God has a beautiful, funny, loving Angel to light the skies!! I guess he wanted to share her with the world by looking over more of us. Love to the entire family. Definitely left this world too soon.

October 9, 2020 at 8:52 pmAunt Dotty was selected to be my God Mother when I was an infant. Through my childhood, teenage years, and into my twenties we had many touching base moments that I hold dear to my heart. She had the ability to meet me on my level, whatever that may have been at the time. Whether it was hosting family fun at her house, watching scary movies during a sleepover, or having a couple of margaritas at a restaurant she was there for me fully in those memories. This is a tough loss for her siblings, and my heart is with all of you right now.
Dorothy “Dotty” Feistel, 57, passed away on October 7, 2020. She was born on October 16, 1962 to Larry and Regina “Bunny” Flaherty in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dotty was a loving and kindhearted woman. She was such a giving person and cared for everyone as much as she could. She loved being involved in activities with her sons. Dotty loved helping out on the PTA and was PTA president. She also was on the board for the Boy Scouts and helped out with many fundraisers. Dotty loved antiquing. She loved going to antique shops when she travelled. Dotty loved the beach and sea turtles and her favorite location was Navarre Beach, Florida. Above all else, Dotty loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Dotty is survived by her husband of 37 years Gregory Feistel; her sons Stephen (Jessica) Feistel and Alex Feistel (Kinsey); her grandchildren Brayden Feistel, Caleb Feistel, Oliver Feistel, and one on the way; her siblings Jim Flaherty, Kathy (Mike) Layman, Rick (Kelly) Flaherty, and Marcy Brookes; and her mother-in-law Barbara Feistel; her father-in-law Paul (Carroll) Feistel; her best friend Mary Butler; and many nieces and nephews.
Dotty was preceded in death by her parents Larry and Bunny Flaherty.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13th at Sunset Funeral Home.
