Gordon Scott, 56, passed away on April 1, 2019. He was born on October 1, 1962 to William Scott Sr. and Viola Fulcher in Evansville, Indiana.
Gordon was a really kind gentleman and a great guy. He took care of anyone he met. Gordon attended Central High School. He was a concrete truck driver and worked for General Foods. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing lawnmowers. Gordon loved his family very much and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Gordon is survived by his wife Sheryl Scott; his son Eric Scott (Brittney); his step-sons Jeremy (April) Weiss and Cory (Anna) Weiss; his grandchildren Alexis, Haley, Aubree, Aleigha, Mason, and Maverick Scott, Kenny and Lindsey Ward, Lacey, Ethan, and Eli Weiss; his siblings Roxanna (James) Lowe, William V. (Angie) Scott Jr., Brock Scott, Melody (Terry) Tabor, and Penny Walters; lots of nieces and nephews; and his dog Buddy.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter Libby Scott; and his brother Terry Scott.
Family and friends can visit from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4th at Sunset Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 5th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
