Jaxton James Tapp, 2, passed away on September 29, 2021. He was born on August 8, 2019, to Alisha (Wade) and Montana Tapp.

Jaxton was a huge fan of Cocomelon. One of his favorite songs to listen to was The Wheels on the Bus by Cocomelon. While he wasn’t watching Cocomelon he was either grabbing any spoon he could get his hands on or making a pile of sticks for his dog, Rev. Rev was his best friend, and they were always together. Jaxton was an animal lover so of course one of his favorite places to go was the zoo. Everyone who knew Jaxton immediately fell in love with him.  His smile would light up the room anywhere he went. Jaxton loved his family dearly and was always happy to spend any time he could with them.

Jaxton is preceded in death by his Nana (Mary Welborn), his uncle Zachary Thompson, and aunt Chris Ackerman.

Jaxton is survived by his loving parents Alisha (Wade) and Montana Tapp and his siblings Addison Murray, Kylyn Murray, and Zander Tapp. Jaxton is also survived by his grandparents Rachel “Mimi” Martin, Jeremy “Papa” Martin, Cindy “Elmo” Lindsey, his aunts Taylor (Trevor) Mohr, Kaylie Hall, his uncles Jeremy “Coo Coo” Martin, Tanner “Wawa” Martin, his godfather Kyle LaMar, and his godmother Veronica “Rae Rae” Vailes. Jaxton is also survived by his best friend in the whole wide world, his dog, Rev.

Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Thursday, October 7, 2021, starting at 11am with the service to follow at 1pm.
