June 4, 2023 at 1:52 pmSuch a kind and fantastic member of Special Effects. So many great memories in the salon of Judy. Girls I know she left with memories for you to keep her in your hearts!
Judy Faye (Case) Whitledge, age 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, surrounded by her family. Judy was born to Roy and Nora (Dorris) Case in Providence, Kentucky. Judy met her husband, Tom in 1968 in Madisonville, Kentucky when her car wouldn’t start at the local drive-in restaurant. They married in July of that same year and went on to have 2 children, Julie and Robyn. They lived in Newburgh, Indiana most of their married life. After the death of her husband, she moved to Buford, Georgia to be near her daughter Robyn.
Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Judy loved the Lord and lived her life sharing the testimony of her faith. She has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior and join the love of her life, her loving husband of 44 years, Thomas Payne Whitledge, her brother Elvis Case, and her parents Roy and Nora Case, and many other friends and loved ones. Judy is survived by her daughters Julie Wade (Michael), Robyn Johnson (Kevin), grandchildren Alexa Whitledge (Tim Hill), Emily Hayes (Matt), Katelyn Wade, and Brantley Johnson, great-grandchildren Lilly and Kaya Hill and one great-grandson who is not yet born, Ledger Thomas Hayes, as well as her best friend for decades, who she always referred to as her “sister”, Cinda Rich. Before she passed, she knew Ledger Thomas is due to be born this fall and was absolutely thrilled with his name. Her favorite things were Elvis Presley, shopping, and Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha. We appreciate the baristas at the Starbucks Sardis Church Road location in Buford, GA for their love and kindness to mom for her (more than daily) dose of happiness. Especially Ashley, Sarah, Frank, and team for being so sweet to her these past few years.
Services will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Evansville, Indiana. Visitation to be at 11am with service following at 12pm on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
