Linda R. Terrell, 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 7, 2018, in her home. Linda was born to Margaret and William Blackford on November, 22, 1948, in Olney, Illinois.
Throughout her life, Linda gave selflessly to others, whether it was caring for siblings in early years or caring for her spouse and grandchildren in her later years. True to her nature, she was known for her love of cooking and baking, a passion that was enjoyed by many.
Following her retirement from Lewis Bakery, Linda devoted much of her time and energy caring for loved ones, especially her grandchildren, who she cherished.
After rejecting a number of options, she chose to spend her last days at home, visiting and reminiscing with loved ones. Ever the straight shooter, she had the following message to share, “Life goes by so fast. Enjoy every moment of it…” Simply put, Linda was a blessing to all and loved beyond words.
Linda is survived by her husband of 18 years Ricky Terrell; children Dave (Michelle) Farris, Richard (Shellie) Rivera, Dana (Eric) Myers; grandchildren Linda (Wesley) Hardin, Elliot Farris, and Tyler, Aly, and Brantley Myers; great grandchildren Cora and Leon; mother Margaret (Blackford) Ward; And siblings William (Mary) Blackford, Rita Pasmore, and Janice (Don) Moser.
