Lula J. Williams went to her heavenly home on June 21, 2023.

Lula was born on July 13, 1961, to Jack and Agnes (McBride) Decaire in Evansville, Indiana.

Lula was a wonderful hands on mother to her sons. She can be remembered playing sports with her kids in the yard and spending tons of quality time with them. She spent many years in the customer service industry taking care of her customers as if they were family.

In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her fiancé Brian and her family. She also enjoyed watching TV. Some of her favorite shows, Looney Tunes, Cops, Nightwatch, and Dog the Bounty Hunter could be found playing anytime you went to visit her. More than anything in the world Lula loved her grandkids. She spent as much time as she could with them, and if they weren’t with her she would always be talking about them. They were her world.

Lula is survived by her fiancé Brian Melton, sons; Anthony Cross (Jennifer) and Adam Cross (Lynsey), grandchildren; Kira, Colton and Layla.

Lula leaves behind her siblings; Judy Haynes (Bill), Ronnie Franks (Donna), and Jack Decair (Patsy); her cousins; Cathy Davis, Vickie Adkisson, and Linda Young; her best friend Pam Kuhr; and her fur babies; Tyson, and Radar. She also leaves behind numerous extended family and friends.

Lula will truly be missed by all those she shared her life with.

Lula was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Gene Franks, Jim Franks, and Mary Decaire.

Visitation will be held Friday June 30, 2023 from 10-11 with a service to follow at 11am at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Park in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
