Marsha Ann Mortis, 67, passed away on February 14, 2020. She was born on July 16, 1952 to Rosalie Reynolds in Evansville, Indiana.
Marsha was a loving mother and grandmother. For most of her life she was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and raising her children. Her grandchildren lovingly called her “Mamo.” Marsha’s favorite time was the holidays. She enjoyed holiday get-togethers and cooking meatloaf for them. Marsha also enjoyed watching television. Her favorites were sci-fi shows like Ghost Hunters. Marsha’s favorite pastime was going out to eat with her family. Her favorite was Chinese food.
Marsha is survived by her children Robin (Sammy) Rigdon, Brian Mortis, Becky Williams (Bruce Cameron); her grandchildren Megan (Andrew) Gerteisen, Mallory Meeks (Shawn), and Patrick Meeks (Cailey); her great-grandchildren Brianna Beck, Trenton Gerteisen, Dylan Gerteisen, and Alexa Gerteisen; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Marsha was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Robert Mortis; her parents Rosalie Reynolds and Russell Reynolds; and her siblings Carolyn Sue Greenwell Buzzingham and Richard Goodwin.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
