Nancy Ann (Purvis) Lewis, 75, passed away on December 19, 2022. She was born on January 10, 1947 in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in Morehead, Kentucky.
Nancy was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nancy devoted 33 years to working at Target. She was very talented in ceramics and scrapbooking. Nancy had an impressive collection of Mickey Mouse memorabilia. She enjoyed spending her evenings sitting on the dock feeding the fish with her beloved neighbors. She had a special companion, her dog, Murphy. Nancy was full of life and loved spending time with her loved ones. Nancy was kind, generous, loving, and a friend to all. Nancy will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Dave Lewis; children David (Sherri) Lewis, Brian (Christy) Lewis, Wesley Lackey; grandchildren Jacob (Nicole), Gage, Emma, Carly; great-grandchildren Aspen and Jade; siblings Nora Beth Wallace, and Rick Turner; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother Doris Turner.
Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
