Ralph E. Huffines, 77, passed away on April 8, 2021. He was born on November 23, 1943, to Ralph D. Huffines and Eva (Free) Huffines in New Albany, Indiana.

Ralph was a hunter, his main passion being squirrels while also enjoying mushroom hunting. He loved taking care of his 11 acres, as he called it. He loved all people, he never met a stranger. He graduated from Paoli High School and then after joined the United States Marine Corps. After serving in the military he became a conservation officer where he stayed for 33 years. After he retired, he enjoyed working at a gun shop, where he got to be around guns and friends. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Ralph loved sharing stories about the crazy memories he had growing up in Paoli. His adventures never ended, he was always up to something. He loved to pull pranks on people. He will be deeply missed.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Ralph D. Huffines and Eva (Free) Huffines; his sister Sue Stewart; and brother Don Highfill.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife Vickie Huffines; daughter Kim (Jeff) Sherman; grandchildren Mick Lester, Alex Lester (Companion Galicia); step-daughter Crystal Hooten (Joe Stuckey); step-grandchildren Courtlynn Hooten, and Jackson Stuckey; and many loving friends and family.

Service will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11 am at Sugarland Memorial Gardens. All friends and family are welcome.
