    My deepest condolences. God is the Creator of life. The Bible calls Jehovah God “the source of life.” Acts 17:24,25 .The One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died.

Robert Anthony Kemper, 63, passed away on January 29, 2021. Robert was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 12, 1957 to his parents, Catherine (Baggett) Green and Clarence Kemper.

Robert Kemper graduated from Harrison High School in Evansville, Indiana. After that, he went on to serve our country in the United States Army. In his younger years, Robert raised and cared for Dobermans. He had a hard passion for them and truly loved taking care of them. Robert loved all things music. He enjoyed singing and playing guitar, but his true musical passion was playing the drums. He loved country and rock music and he especially loved Elvis. His family describes him as the “keeper of all things”. He loved to collect knives, brass, and all things that sparkled. He was a sharp dresser and he really had style. Robert enjoyed getting dressed up and looking nice. Above all else, Robert had a big heart and truly loved his family.

Preceding Robert in death are his parents, Catherine (Baggett) Green and Clarence Kemper.

Surviving Robert are his children, Robin Kemper, Chasity (Ricky) Kemper, Tiffany (Anthony) Martinez, Maxine Kemper, and Kayla (Dee) Kemper; his step-daughter, Kymberli Vandever; his grandchildren, Ti’Ackquien, Elay’Shia, Le’Saria, Ar’Mahni, Destinee, Mariah, Preston, and Jocelynn; his step-grandchildren; Haylee and Glenn; his siblings, Gene, Jesse, and Johnny Ray Kemper; many loving nieces and nephews; and his long time best friend, Tammy Beasley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park from 11am-12pm with service to follow immediately at 12pm. The service will be livestreamed via Zoom.US. Please contact Sunset at 812.477.5316 for the login details.
