Robert B. Edge, 89, of Evansville passed away May 17, 2018 at The Good Samaritan Home. He was born March 14, 1929 in Albion, Illinois to parents, Benjamin Harrison & Bertha Fayette (Hortin) Edge. He married Ramona (Kellams) Edge and she survives. They would have celebrated 44 loving years together on November 14th.
Mr. Edge served the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed growing and eating tomatoes, fishing, and playing softball and bowling when he was able. He loved tinkering on cars and playing on the CB radio.
Along with his wife, Mr. Edge is survived by his children, Raymond (Leslie), Ronald (Katelynne), and Roxianne (Keith); grandchildren, Sierra, Austin, Victoria, Thomas, Kristyn, Cydney, and Renee; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn; and several nieces and nephews, including L. Steven Edge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mildred and Ruth; and brother, Charles.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 until funeral service time, 1:00 on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
