April 27, 2019 at 8:03 pmI am deeply sorry for your loss. I’m reaching out with some encouragement as I too have lost many loved ones in death. One thing that has helped me to cope many times is a promise made by in the Bible at Acts 24:15. Here it says that we can have a “hope toward God” for He promises that “there is going to be a resurrection.” What a comfort to have “a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago.” (Titus 1:2)
Another comforting Scripture, one of my personal favorites, is Psalms 37:29. It speaks of world conditions under God’s Kingdom rule. It says: “The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.” A most reassuring promise indeed! I hope these verses comfort you as they have comforted me. My heart and prayers go out to you.

I hope you are proud of the way I took care of your love while he was here. He was our rock Roxie. He became the big brother to us all, you would have been so proud of him. I love you and miss you everyday.
Roxanna M. Lowe, 63, passed away on April 20, 2019. She was born on October 15, 1955 to William Scott Sr. and Viola Fulcher in Evansville, Indiana.
Roxanna was a saint on this Earth and never met a stranger. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, James Lowe, in 1972. Roxanna was a CNA for Columbia Nursing Home for about 10 years. Roxanna attended The Cathedral Church for several years. She also loved to watch lifetime movies and going to the boat. Roxanna took care of her family and loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Roxanna loved everyone unconditionally.
Roxanna is survived by her husband James Lowe; her children James (Tina) Lowe Jr. and Laura Lowe (Doyle Carroll); her grandchildren Jacob and Joshua Carroll, and Keaton Lowe; her great-granddaughter Raelee Carroll; her siblings, William V. (Angie) Scott Jr., Brock Scott, Melody (Terry) Tabor, and Penny Walters; many nieces and nephews; and her Pomeranian Sissy.
Roxanna was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers Terry Scott and Gordon Scott.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24th at Sunset Funeral Home. Family and Friends can also visit from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Thursday, April 25th at Sunset Funeral Home with an entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
