Ruby Valeer Howard, 72, passed away on February 23, 2020. She was born on March 5, 1947 to Lennis and Opal Barton in Evansville, Indiana.
Ruby was an excellent seamstress and gardener. She worked at Anchor Industries as a seamstress for 10 years. There was nothing she couldn’t sew. She made beautiful quilts for her family. Ruby enjoyed playing bingo and clabber with her friends and her sister. She was also a member of the American Legion Lady’s Auxiliary in Boonville.
Ruby is survived by her son Greg (Victoria) Bradshaw; her grandchildren Tiffani (Dylan) Powell, Arian Bradshaw, Chelsea (Richard) Bainbridge, and Brittany Kessler; her great-grandchildren Parker Bradshaw, Eli Boger, Connor Boger, Shirley Kae Powell, Thomas Bainbridge, Shane Sumner, and Archer Sumner; her siblings Betty Caswell and Fuzzy (Betty) Barton; her nieces and nephews Edward (Brandi) Caswell, Scott (Becky) Caswell, Krista Caswell, Bart Caswell, Bret Caswell, and Tammy (Wayne) Foster.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years Bruce Howard; her parents; her brother-in-law Paul Caswell; and nephew Curtis Barton.
As per Ruby’s wishes there will be no services at this time.
