Sandra Jane (Jerls) Wilson of Evansville, IN passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021, surrounded by her family.  She was born to Cecil William Jerls and Cozetta Mae (Evans) Jerls on Friday, July 13th, 1945, in Essex, MO.

She was united in marriage to James David Wilson on January 15th, 1966.  Together they had three children, Cinda (Tony) Phillips, Todd Wilson, and Carrie (Jonathan) Dawson.  She had six grandchildren, Keith (Anna) Phillips, Abbie (Nate) Smith, Kyle Phillips, Alex Wilson, Kaylea Dawson, and Kian Dawson.  She is also survived by her sister, Judith Bland, and many other family members.  She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Hollis Jerls and Gary Jerls.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10am-11am in the Chapel at Sunset Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 11am in the Chapel with burial to follow at Blue Grass Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Riley Hospital for Children, 705 Riley Hospital Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46202 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
