Timothy Lee “Tim Johnson” McKnight, 53, passed away on December 15th, 2020 in Evansville, Indiana. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 20th, 1967 to his parents, Eugene and Violet (Whitlock) McKnight.
He graduated from high school in Chicago, Illinois. He was a simple man who deeply cared about his family and friends. He was big family man loved to spend as much time with them as possible. He was very social and loved to meet new people and make new friends. There was no one he met that was ever a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew; Eugene McKnight.
He is survived by his sisters; Teresa (Steve) McCraw and Bonnie Rife; his brother, Clinton (Debra) McKnight; his nieces and nephews; Kimberly (Michael) Carnahan, Matthew (Jessica) McCraw, Brandon (Bryanna) McCraw, Anthony (Ashley) McKnight, Thomas (Sarah) McKnight, and Christopher (Nacole) McKnight; and his great nieces and nephews; Adrian, Briana, Madison, Samara, Aidan, Ethan, Mason, Keira, and Noah (Carnahan); Brantley, Knox, Kainen, and Ryder (McCraw); Zayden, Owen, Eli, Ensli, Thomas, Jr., Dominic, Sierra, Gage, Mailyn, Thomas III, Violet, Destiny, and Braxton (McKnight).
There will be a graveside service for Timothy on Tuesday, December 22nd at 1 p.m. at the ossuary at Sunset Memorial Park.
