Tracy Lee Arndell, 60, went to be with Jesus on March 2, 2023. He was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 3, 1962, to Alton Gene and Dorothy (Turpin) Arndell.

Tracy was a jack of all trades. He had many hobbies including camping, fishing, playing pool with a league, and golfing. He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Dolphins. Tracy enjoyed riding his Harley with the love of his life, Tammy. Tracy could do just about anything. After his time in the Navy, he worked in maintenance, owned his own painting business, volunteered with the fire department, was the town marshal of Tennyson, IN, and even was a reservist with the Chandler Police Department. Tracy was funny and enjoyed laughing and cracking up. Most certainly a man that will be missed by anyone who knew him.

Tracy is survived by his devoted wife, Tammy Jo; his children, Candice, Billy, Zach (Valerie), Lynsie, Cory; his grandchildren, Aria, Chance, Dominic, Nadia, Malachi, Brooklyn, Corey, Jackson, Colton, Jesse, and Phillip; his siblings, Robyn (Bill), Kelly (Eyde), Mitzi (Dan), and Cindy; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Tracy is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Dorothy; his stepfather, Ken Pearcy; and his brothers, Jerry Burgdorf and David Arndell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gentiva Hospice to give support for the loving care they provide the families they serve.

Services for Tracy will be held at Sunset Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, March 6, from 4pm to 7pm, on Tuesday, March 7, visitation will be held at 11am with the service to begin at 12pm. Military honors will follow at graveside.

My heart is truly broken but at the same time I know you are healthy and whole. I have loved you from the first time we spoke on the phone at 12 years old. A Star is Born will for ever be my favorite movie, since that was our first kiss from my first love. So many memories come flooding back to me, and would still get.that flutter in my heart when I heard your name. My biggest thrill was when you were playing at the Fall Festival talent show and mouthed I love you to me from the stage!! I will forever be one of your biggest groupies!! Tammy, thank you for being so good to him all these years I know he loved you as much as you loved him!!

Tracy you will be missed. You taught me a lot when we were working together at IGA Darmstadt. You are great man and a great father and a great friend. Tammy will miss you you so very much but I know you will watching over her and smile down on her and keep her safe.
