Brandt E. Johns, 53, passed away on July 10, 2023. He was born to Ronald Johns and Janet Johns on January 20, 1970, in Evansville Indiana.

Brandt had an adventurous soul. He loved doing things outdoors. He frequently went hiking and rock climbing, just to be out enjoying nature. One of his favorite places to go was the Garden of the Gods. Brandt enjoyed Rock and Roll music and loved jamming out at the concerts he attended. He had an impressive collection of movie tapes. He also liked muscle cars; the old classics were the best. Brandt was most certainly a man who didn’t worry about what others thought of him, he was fine just being himself. He was a great dad and was so close to his boys; they have been his world. Brandt will be remembered always having a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Brandt is survived by his sons Brandt Johns and Andrew Johns; mother of his boys Lisa Ferrari; Grandchildren Averi Lee Marie Johns, Ayvalynn Jane Johns, Abbigail Johns and Ezera Johns; His sister LaDonna Jernigan and brother James Jernigan; and best friend Terri Ritchie and her family; numerous extended family including two nieces and one nephew.

Brandt is preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Transcendent Healthcare South and Gentiva Hospice for their love and care.
