To say Evyauna was one-of-a-kind would be an understatement, at the very least. She emanated love and laughter in everything she did. She was the first to make you laugh and the first to make fun of you, but she was also the first to step in to make sure you were alright and standup to anyone else giving you a hard time. She was a grizzly bear out the outside and a teddy bear on the inside. She had a way of making those around her feel safe and loved, and also self-aware of everything that made you you. She never met a stranger and had more “best friends” than anyone I’ve ever known. The sheer number of people whose lives she touched is an amazing feat for anyone, let a young woman of only 13. I truly feel sorry for everyone that didn’t get the chance to meet her. She reminded me to live loudly and take care of those around me. I’ll never forget the person she was and the person she helped those around her become.

Evyauna Javnté Dixon was born September 3, 2009, to parents Heather Williams and Keivon Dixon.
Evyauna was the 3rd member of the Dixon6, she was a multitalented young lady with a broad scope of interest way beyond her athletic abilities. Evy was naturally gifted academically and socially. She was just scratching the surface with her drawing, hoping to one day travel and paint different canvases throughout the world. A star could not shine as bright as Evy in any situation whether you were a teammate or a player of the opposing team. She kept everyone laughing and smiling. In just 13 short years she has touched many with her joyous and charming smile. She was a best friend to all and stranger to none.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Steve Williams and Robert Dixon Sr. as well as great-grandparents Georgetta Galbreath, Carol Carter and Beatrice and Glenn Williams.
She is survived by her parents. Her sisters Natalie, Symfhani-Devine, Keileigh Raé, Kolby, and brother Keionnie. Her grandma Kristina Willingham Dixon and Mamaw Tracy Williams. Four aunts, Kyra Willingham (TT Kyr), Jordan Williams (JoJo) Robyn Dixon (TT), Taylor Robb (Tator), and 2 uncles Aaron Williams (Uncle A) and Robert Dixon Jr. (Uncle Rob) A ton of cousins and even more friends that became family; fur baby Stella, baby hippo Sunee BlueSkies, and big-headed bestfriend Jefe.
The family would like to say Thank You to all the coaches and teachers who have contributed to her journey with a watchful eye.
With a special Thank You and lots of love and prayers to the Coach Carter family and Coach Cristal.
Evy’s life will be celebrated at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Park Gazebo at 1800 St. George Road, Evansville, Indiana. Service will begin at 3 pm with visitation following from 4-6 pm on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, please send any and all donations to Evansville Youth Soccer League in honor of her legacy.
