September 13, 2021 at 3:42 pmI was just getting to know Jim. He was a good neighbor and I never heard an unkind word from him about anyone. I’m very sorry to hear of his passing.
James M. Gist, Jr., age 73, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. James was born to James M. Gist, Sr. and Thelma (Reutter) Gist on December 16, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana.

He is survived by his daughter Jasmine (Gary) Folz and his son Scott (Jennifer) Gist; his grandchildren Jamison Gist, Kendall Gist, Elijah Folz, and Ellie Folz; his wife and close friend Nancy Gist. In addition, he is survived by his sisters Dana Schroeder and Dawn Gist-Heinen; nephews Chance Heinen and Austin Schroeder and a host of extended family and friends.
