Linda Kaye Long, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Linda was born on June 19, 1947 to Leroy and Nina Goldsberry in Henderson, Kentucky.
Linda was active in the Pre-K Sunday School at Crossroads Christian Church. Linda loved children, she worked in the cafeteria at Bosse High School for over 26 years. She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.
Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Long, her parents Leroy and Nina Goldsberry, and her two brothers Ronald Goldsberry and Robert Goldsberry. She is survived by her son Tim Long and her daughter Angie Hall-Hale. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Braydon Long, Avery Long, and Caleb Long; her sister Eleanor Fruit; and her best friend and fur baby Molly.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10am-12pm. Funeral services will begin at 12pm in the Chapel at Sunset Funeral Home with Pastor Denny Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
