Jessica Dawn Sheats

Jessica Dawn Sheats, 43, passed away on March 13, 2020. She was born on October 18, 1976 to Vernon Schwartz and Jackie DeWig in Evansville, Indiana.

Jessie was an amazing caretaker, mother, and wife. She cared for everyone she could and loved spending time with her family. Jessie had a big heart for western themes. Her whole house is decorated in western themes. She was also a huge fan of Nascar, her favorite racers being Dale Earnhart. Jessie also had a heart for animals. She volunteered at Warrick Humane Society and rescued several pets throughout the years.

Jessie is survived by her husband of 27 years Rodney Sheats; her children Zachary (Leah) Sheats, Madison Sheats, and Emmett Jewell; her sister Chris (Mo) Will; her parents; her nieces Tori Cook and Bailey Will; and her beloved animals Angel, Ralphi, and Isla Rose.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, March 16^th at Sunset Funeral Home. A celebration of life will begin at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17^th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends and family can visit from 11 a.m. until time of service.
