Russell A. Byrd, 72, passed away on July 23, 2023. He was born on September 8, 1950, to Robert and Della Byrd in Evansville, Indiana.
Russ graduated from Harrison High School. He worked at AT&T for several years. He went on to work at Old National Bank as a Security Guard in his later years. He was extremely tech-savvy, so much so, he could even build his own computer. Russ was an avid poker player, loved horse racing, and watching his favorite sports teams, Boston Celtics, NY Yankees, Miami Dolphins, and Purdue Boilermakers.
Russ is survived by his brother Mark (Natalie) Byrd; 5 nieces, 3 great-nieces, 1 great-nephew; sister-in-law’s Cindy Byrd, RoseMarie Byrd, and Nancy Miller; several extended family.
Russ was preceded in death by parents Robert and Della Byrd, and siblings Dan Byrd, Pam Byrd, Tim Byrd, Kyle Byrd.
